Just got around to finally watching The King’s Speech
Wow. I have been missing the fuck out.
Colin Firth, I have always loved you but you had that performance DOWN. Seriously, right down to the walk.
And Helena Bonham-Carter. I just fucking love that woman. According to my mother she had the Queen Mum down pat too. Bitch is flawless.
And they used Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony for the wartime speech. Orgasm for my ears. Words with Beethoven in a movie: combines english, music and film, my three favourite things.
